Blue Bird Day is not your average preschool or kindergarten program. In fact, it’s not a school at all! We are an intensive therapy clinic focused on providing family-centered services using a team approach. Our program has been updated and improved through the years to provide the best results for our families. We provide therapies for children with

Therapies are provided within the clinic, at home, and in community settings. Children enrolled in the program receive daily services within small group rotations that simulate a preschool or kindergarten day; they may also receive individual therapy sessions. We work with our families to ensure they have all the services they need in a given week, and goals are created for each client and the family’s unique needs.

Our therapists work in teams to collaborate to meet the needs of our families through Blue Bird Day’s Therapeutic Rotations©. Blue Bird Day Therapeutic Rotations© complement each other to address all skills needed for meaningful participation in everyday life.

Interactive Therapeutic Sensorimotor gym at our West Loop Chicago location. Includes a therapeutic web tower swing hanging from the ceiling for sensory seekers that helps improve balance reactions and motor planning and provides calming vestibular input. On the floor is a child-sized green and red trampoline with a handle for balance and safety to provide stimulating proprioceptive input, help kids release energy, and promote motor skills. There is also large colorful blocks for creative and gross motor play, two round wooden climbing ladders, and a play house cube with two circular openings to climb and explore.
