My Story

I have always been passionate about working with children and helping them reach their full potential. I was first introduced to ABA while completing my internship at a pediatric clinic during my undergraduate studies in Iowa. This sparked my interest in pursuing ABA further and getting my Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology with a certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis at Ball State University. My first job after graduation was working as an ABA therapist with young children, providing in home services. I provided one-on-one therapy for a broad range of skills, such as daily living skills, social and communication skills, play skills, self-care and academic skills. I also worked with the pediatric population in a special education classroom, providing one-to-one support for children with ASD and working with small groups. I have now been in the field of ABA for nearly two years and have loved every moment! I am excited to continue applying my skills and education to positively influence the children at Blue Bird Day and see all of the progress they make!

My Blue Bird Day

I am very excited to start working at Blue Bird Day! It is wonderful to be able to work at an organization where so many different services are provided in the same location.

My Blue Bird Day Goals

  1. Graduate with my Masters in Educational Psychology in December 2020.
  2. Become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst by the end of 2021.
