Professional Goals
As a physical therapist my goal is to continuously learn and grow through coursework, other pediatric professionals, and of course the amazing children I work with. Through this growth I aim to provide the best possible care for the families I serve.
My Story
The body has always been fascinating to me. While pursuing a degree in speech pathology and audiology, I also participated in classes within the dance department. It was there that I became fascinated with how the body moved and worked. Shortly afterward, I switched my path to physical therapy and never looked back. Since completing my degree, I have found a true love for working with children. Experiencing the daily excitement and challenges through a child’s eyes and navigating through all those moments with intention and compassion brings a sense of purpose to each day.
Blue Bird Day
Blue Bird Day fosters socialization, sensory regulation, and pre-academic learning in children ages 2–7 years in therapeutic rotations that simulate preschool and kindergarten settings. Our compassionate therapists practice a relationship-based and family-centered approach, provide parent training, and collaborate on goals and individualized intensive treatment plans for your child.
We believe in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team approach to therapy. A team of occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, developmental therapists, behavioral therapists, physical therapists, and therapeutic assistants are created for each child to ensure child and family are fully supported and the best possible results are achieved.
Options for individualized, group and virtual therapy sessions are available as well.
