My Story

I became a therapist to utilize my innate skills of empathy and kindness to support those in need. I am passionate about working with children to support their social and emotional growth. I graduated from Aurora University with my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work. I specialized in School Social Work and have my Professional Educator License (PEL) and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I worked at a private therapeutic day school setting for four years where I worked with students of varying ages and abilities. During my time there I utilized creativity and play to engage students in the therapeutic relationship and process.
