|Where are you from?||Just outside of Chicago; a lifelong Chicagoan!|
|What did you study?||I received my BS in Psychology at Loyola University Chicago, with special interests in Spanish language and gender studies. I completed my MS and clinical doctorate (OTD) in Occupational Therapy at University of Illinois at Chicago, where I also completed a certificate in Assistive Technology (ATCP) with a focus on environmental modification.|
|Professional bio?||Prior to joining Blue Bird Day, Andrea has had clinical fieldwork experiences in the areas of adult and adolescent mental health, inpatient pediatric and adult rehabilitation, and pediatric outpatient settings.
Andrea values her role as a research-informed clinician. She takes pride in her involvement in advancing pediatric processes of care via her OTD project, which used knowledge translation and visualization strategies to improve a participation-focused electronic report considering Blue Bird Day therapist input.

|What you do consider your greatest accomplishment?||Thus far, managing my OTD while caring for an ill loved one.|

|Where would you go on your dream vacation?||That’s a tough one – I love to travel and see the world! I’d say a road trip out west to hike, camp, and visit my favorite US National Parks: Glacier, Zion, Grand Canyon, and Canyonlands.|
|What is your favorite children’s book?||Madeline.|
|What skill are you most proud of?||Resilience and empathy.|
|Winter or Summer?||Summer – I love sunlight, bike rides along the lakefront, movies in the park, and warm weather!|
