My Story
I discovered the field of applied behavior analysis while completing my bachelor’s degree at SIU. My clinical supervisor was an SLP who also worked closely with a BCBA. Prior to attending SIU, a close family member was diagnosed with autism and from that point on I knew that I wanted to work with children. I have volunteered and provided direct service to children, teenagers, and adults diagnosed with autism. Outside of therapy, I tutor, mentor, and provide civic engagement opportunities for the youth in the community I grew up in.
My Blue Bird Day
I love seeing the growth within each client and receiving feedback from parents. I really enjoy working with the supportive and collaborative teams at Blue Bird.
