My Story

When I was about 17 years old, I went to shadow my aunt who is a speech language pathologist. At the time she worked at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital. While I was there I shadowed not only my aunt, but OT’s and PT’s, as well. I instantly knew on that day that I wanted to become a speech language pathologist after that experience. Ever since then I had my mind set on it, and knew I always wanted the rewarding job of helping others to communicate effectively.

My Blue Bird Day

This will be my first experience with Blue Bird Day. I am excited to join the team as a speech language pathologist!

My Advocacy

As a speech language pathologist, I am a member of ASHA. As a newer clinician I am eager and excited to join other organizations to support as my career progresses.

My Blue Bird Day Goals

  1. Seeing as though I have only been in this field for about a year and a half, my goal as a professional is to increase my clinical skills, continue to educate myself, and incorporate more ways to include team collaboration on a day-to-day basis.
