My Story

My name is Erin. I am your typical washed up high school athlete who was turned on to PT from my multiple team members injuries. I decided to pursue PT after observing at a pediatric PT Clinic that had hippotherapy! I went to UW Madison and I’m a die hard Badger fan! I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and moved back after college and attended PT school at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, where I was the peds girl in my class. This summer I traveled to Paris for the 2024 Olympics and was able to attend events to support Team USA! Hobbies of mine include spending time with my family and friends, watching sports (Go Badgers!), and spending time at my parents lake house in Wisconsin.

My Advocacy

I enjoy volunteering at the annual Cure SMA conference.

My Education

Doctorate of Physical Therapy,
Midwestern University

B.S. in Kinesiology,
University of Wisconsin Madison

My Professional Goals

  1. Learn as much as I can!
  2. Grow in my practice as a PT!
  3. Eventually get my PCS and possibly open my own clinic!

Blue Bird Day

Blue Bird Day fosters socialization, sensory regulation, and pre-academic learning in children ages 2–7 years in therapeutic rotations that simulate  preschool and kindergarten settings. Our compassionate therapists practice a relationship-based and family-centered approach, provide parent training, and collaborate on goals and individualized intensive treatment plans for your child.

We believe in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team approach to therapy.  A team of occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, developmental therapists, behavioral therapists, physical therapists, and therapeutic assistants are created for each child to ensure child and family are fully supported and the best possible results are achieved.

Options for individualized, group and virtual therapy sessions are available as well.
