My Story

I have been in the early childhood education field for over six years, and it has always been a passion of mine to work with young children. As a teacher, I enjoy implementing and facilitating activities that bring joy and foster developmental growth through play with a child-centered focus, as well as getting to know and connecting with each child and their families. Throughout my years of teaching, I have felt a sense of fulfillment in knowing that I am making a difference in a child’s life, especially children who need extra help. I want to take my experiences as a teacher to help young children with developmental delays and disabilities reach their full potential and learn more about how to help them using therapeutic methods.

My Blue Bird Day

I am thankful for coming across Blue Bird Day and having the opportunity to be part of a great cause. Not only will I continue my passion of working with young children, but I will also be learning more about the field of pediatric therapy. I’m excited to start my journey with Blue Bird Day!

My Blue Bird Day Goals

  1. My goal is to learn from the therapists, therapy sessions, and daily experiences at Blue Bird Day to find out the path I want to pursue in the future. Regardless of the direction I choose, I know that I want to work with children in a pediatric or school setting.
