My Story

I had open-heart surgery at the age of ten and received occupational and physical therapy in the hospital to help me relearn how to independently get dressed, perform self-care tasks, and walk safely. Ever since then, I knew I wanted to help children with their skill development.

My Blue Bird Day

After working in outpatient pediatrics for seven years seeing kids only once a week for treatment sessions, I was ready for a more intensive setting where I could make an even bigger impact on my clients’ lives. That’s what I love about working at Blue Bird Day—our kids are given so much therapeutic support throughout their school day in order to make the most progress and gains!

My Blue Bird Day Goals

  1. To continue expanding my practice and therapeutic toolbox by utilizing a variety of and learning new evidenced-based strategies while maintaining a holistic approach.
