My Story

I began my journey in behavioral health several years ago out of my love for working with children, and a desire to find a career that gave me the satisfaction of contributing to something that had a real, palpable impact on the lives of others. I began as a paraprofessional at a therapeutic day school, and soon realized that I’d discovered a line of work I was truly passionate about. I wanted to continue exploring ways I could support children with special needs in a more focused manner, which prompted my decision to become a registered behavior technician. I’ve loved every minute of my role since the start, working to help set up children with special needs for success and a greater level of independence in their lives.

My Professional Goals

  1. I would like to continue onward with journey in behavioral health and eventually work toward obtaining either my LBS1 or my BCBA license.

Bachelors of Science in Computer Science,

My Blue Bird Day

I am just beginning my journey with Blue Bird Day, and I could not be more excited! It is an incredible clinic filled with amazing, dedicated people who are passionate about what they do, and I am glad to be a part of such a wonderfully talented team.

Blue Bird Day

Blue Bird Day fosters socialization, sensory regulation, and pre-academic learning in children ages 2–7 years in therapeutic rotations that simulate  preschool and kindergarten settings. Our compassionate therapists practice a relationship-based and family-centered approach, provide parent training, and collaborate on goals and individualized intensive treatment plans for your child.

We believe in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team approach to therapy.  A team of occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, developmental therapists, behavioral therapists, physical therapists, and therapeutic assistants are created for each child to ensure child and family are fully supported and the best possible results are achieved.

Options for individualized, group and virtual therapy sessions are available as well.
