My Story
My background is in teaching, which I knew I wanted to do from an early age. When I was working in schools I had been placed in a few special education classrooms, and one day I answered a Craigslist ad for an ABA therapist position for a part-time job. After working in the field for about a year and seeing how much positive impact therapy had on kids and their families, I decided to go full-time. My decision to become a BCBA came shortly after, when I had a strong desire to help shape the way this field was going to grow. I’ve learned so much since answering that ad in 2011, and my ultimate goal is to help kids live their best happy lives and support them and their families along the way however I can.
