My Story

I began my career in Nursing and realized I wanted to pursue a degree in Healthcare that was less invasive. I then decided to go to school to become a PTA, with plans to attend graduate school to receive my DPT; however, with a change in life plans I decided to hold off. I have been working as a PTA for the past 4 years, and have done 2 travel therapy contracts since 2020. I had always dreamed of working in pediatrics, so when I had the opportunity for this job, I knew I couldn’t pass it up.

My Professional Goals

  1. My main professional goal is to continue to educate myself in order to expand and grow in many areas of Physical Therapy.

My Blue Bird Day

Since I started, I have really enjoyed my time here.

Blue Bird Day

Blue Bird Day fosters socialization, sensory regulation, and pre-academic learning in children ages 2–7 years in therapeutic rotations that simulate  preschool and kindergarten settings. Our compassionate therapists practice a relationship-based and family-centered approach, provide parent training, and collaborate on goals and individualized intensive treatment plans for your child.

We believe in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team approach to therapy.  A team of occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, developmental therapists, behavioral therapists, physical therapists, and therapeutic assistants are created for each child to ensure child and family are fully supported and the best possible results are achieved.

Options for individualized, group and virtual therapy sessions are available as well.
