My Story
I am a first generation Latina with a passion for helping others. Growing up, I firsthand experienced a lack of resources in my community and thus, strive to become an asset and aid those into reaching their full potential!
My Blue Bird Day
As a recent graduate looking to start a career in the psychology field, I was searching for an environment to grow and use everyday as an opportunity to help those around me achieve new milestones. While conducting my job search, Blue Bird Day’s mission statement led me to discover the opportunity Blue Bird provides to its clients. I am looking forward to being part of a wonderful team!
My Advocacy
I am a strong advocate for women’s rights, the LGBTQ community, and Mental Health. Some of the organizations I support are the National Organization for Women, National Alliance on Mental Illness, and the Human Rights Campaign.
My Blue Bird Day Goals
- I aim to be attainable to all communities in this profession, especially those of lower income.
- I plan to return to school and earn a Master’s in Psychology with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling.
