My Story
I’ve always loved helping people and found the world of social work through internships during undergrad. When I went to Georgia to get my MSW, I discovered a passion for working with children. I started off in child welfare and made the shift into child therapy within the last year and a half. I’m so excited to learn and experience a new side of therapy and the social work field with Blue Bird Day!
My Blue Bird Day
When I was getting ready to come back to Illinois from Georgia, I learned about Blue Bird Day. I really loved the multidisciplinary structure of the program and the work they were doing with the children. I’m excited to be a part of the program that I’ve admired for so long!

- To become trained in DIR/Floortime.
