My Story

I have always wanted to work with children and families. Social work allows me to not only assist children and families in achieving immediate goals on an individual level, but provides space to speak on the systemic issues families face on bigger platforms.

My Blue Bird Day

Although I am a new member of Blue Bird Day, it is exciting and eye-opening to be a part of a larger multidisciplinary team. While we all come from different professions, we all have the same goal in mind and that is to provide the absolute best care to our children and their families.

My Blue Bird Day Goals

  1. Explore the ways in which not only family dynamics, but community factors, impact socio-emotional development.
  2. Be the best support to my families to create and follow through on individualized treatment plans.
  3. Attain my LSW as well as my LCSW.
  4. Learn how to be an effective advocate for children.
