My Story

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Social Work and minors in Spanish and Social Justice in 2017. I continued my education at Loyola University Chicago to advance my knowledge of children and families and graduated with my Masters of Social Work specializing in Children and Families in 2018. Before coming to Blue Bird in August 2019, I spent my time working with children and their families in the school setting as a therapist for K-8 and an aide in a Kindergarten classroom. I enjoy working with children and their families and seeing their growth.

My Blue Bird Day

I really enjoy working with our children each day in supporting their social-emotional development. It always brings so much joy to see them use the skills we’ve practiced together independently during play and social interactions. I love the ability to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to best support our children and families at Blue Bird and in the home.

My Blue Bird Day Goals

  1. Receive my license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker

From my peer: Thank you for jumping in to help social group even when you had a lot going on! It was much needed and appreciated. Thank you for your positive attitude and willingness to go with the flow. You are so appreciated!
