My Story

I was always interested in the therapy field and discovered occupational therapy in my early 20s. The more research I did on the profession, who I could serve, and the skills I would learn, the more passionate I became about OT. After working as a certified occupational therapy assistant for 2 years, I have decided to pursue my masters’ degree in occupational therapy through a bridge program at Cabarrus College of Health Sciences.

My Blue Bird Day

I most enjoy the moments of connection with the child. It is such a rewarding moment and reminds me how important relationship is to therapy and the child’s progress.

My Blue Bird Day Goals

  1. Earn my master’s degree in occupational therapy by 2022
  2. Become more on sensory processing disorder and interventions
