My Story
I have always loved working with kids. It is such a privilege to be able to support children as they build lifelong skills and confidence. During my time at Loyola University, I completed extensive research centered around children and adolescents, including topics such as the impacts of social media on development and the importance of representation in children’s media. I am eager to support the clients at Blue Bird Day on their path to success.
My Blue Bird Day
As I begin my journey at Blue Bird Day, I am excited to join a team of knowledgeable and caring professionals!
My Advocacy
I am passionate about advocating for the access of mental health resources for children who are currently in US foster care as well as those who have aged out of the system. Organizations I support include Foster Care to Success and A Sense of Home. I am also a big animal lover; I support Central Illinois’ Hoppy Haven Small Animal Rescue and have even fostered a few animals myself!
My Blue Bird Day Goals
- My goal is to continue my education and earn a doctorate in clinical psychology, specializing in children and adolescents.
- I hope to one day open my own pediatric practice.
