My Story
I began working at a homeless shelter as a case manager in Aurora, IL, after graduating with my bachelors of Social Work. I worked with many clients who shared their struggle with their kids and began working alongside them to help as much as possible. I soon realized I wanted to do more to help families with their children, which lead me to getting my masters of Social Work. After I graduated, I began working in a preschool to gain more knowledge and experience working with kids. My passion for working with kids grew each day and as did my love for the children.
My Blue Bird Day Goals
- My professional goal is to continue to learn and grow every day, never stopping. I would like to become a License Clinical Social Worker and eventually have a private practice of my own, continuing to help children grow and learn!
