My Story

I became a speech language pathologist because I was drawn to the possibilities that the field offers. I knew I wanted to work with pediatrics, but wasn’t sure in what aspect until I found speech language pathology and learned that I could help children with their development in a variety of ways. I love being able to work with children individually and in small groups, as well as working with their families.

My Professional Goals

  1. Continue growing my knowledge with AAC devices and feeding/swallowing treatment/disorders.

My Education

Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology,
Saint Mary’s College

Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Sciences and Disorders,
Saint Mary’s College

My Blue Bird Day

I worked at sister company Eyas Landing for 2 years as a speech language pathologist and onboarding mentor. I became an early intervention provider during my time there as well.

Blue Bird Day

Blue Bird Day fosters socialization, sensory regulation, and pre-academic learning in children ages 2–7 years in therapeutic rotations that simulate  preschool and kindergarten settings. Our compassionate therapists practice a relationship-based and family-centered approach, provide parent training, and collaborate on goals and individualized intensive treatment plans for your child.

We believe in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team approach to therapy.  A team of occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, developmental therapists, behavioral therapists, physical therapists, and therapeutic assistants are created for each child to ensure child and family are fully supported and the best possible results are achieved.

Options for individualized, group and virtual therapy sessions are available as well.
