My Story

Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to help people with disabilities. When I found out about occupational therapy, I was enthusiastic about the ways that OT helps people with disabilities. My goal is to pursue OT in the future. I’ve had the opportunity to work at non-profit organizations like Northeast DuPage Special Recreation Association, Gigi’s Playhouse, and Grupo Salto. These opportunities have taught me so much and have motivated me to keep on learning how to better support people with disabilities.

My Advocacy

I advocate for a world that is accepting, kind and accessible to people with disabilities. I support Gigi’s Playhouse Generation G movement where people take the pledge to be accepting, generous, and kind.

My Blue Bird Day Goals

  1. I want to pursue a masters in Occupational Therapy.
