My Story

As someone with a sibling with Down syndrome and autism, I know how important this field is for so many families. My personal connection to this field is what led to my passion and desire to work in social work and provide families with the much-needed support that my family was given. I love how social work has allowed me to work with individuals with developmental disabilities with a focus on their social-emotional wellness and mental health, while also advocating for their needs on a broader scale.

My Blue Bird Day

I love Blue Bird for the supportive environment for both therapists and children. Everyone works so nicely as a team and there are always so many people willing to help with whatever you may need. The children thrive in this environment and seeing their growth in their time at Blue Bird is truly wonderful! s.
