My Story

When I was in high school, I got to attend speech therapy sessions with the little boy I babysat. I saw the SLP open his world and his parents’ world by giving him a voice. I loved attending the sessions and watching him grow with his language. I also was amazed at how the SLP built a relationship not only with him, but also with his parents and I, on ways to support and promote his communication throughout his day. I hope to ‘give my clients’ a voice, build relationships and support the client’s caretakers just like this SLP did.

My Blue Bird Day

I worked at Eyas Landing/Blue Bird Day from 2017-2020.

My Blue Bird Day Goals

  1. To continue to grow my knowledge of the various aspects of speech-language pathology to support my clients and their families.
