My Story

What got me interested in the field of speech-language pathology was when I was seeing a speech-language pathologist from the age of 4 to 12. Growing up I knew I always wanted to be in the health field, I just did not know where. When I was pursuing my undergraduate degree, I decided to take the introductory course to speech and hearing and fell in love with the field of speech-language pathology.

My Blue Bird Day Goals

  1. To grow my competencies with utilizing assistive technology to help children communicate their wants and needs.
  2. To be able to supervise graduate students and/or clinical fellows as they begin their career in the field of speech-language pathology.
