My Story
I always wanted to go into a career where I could help people. I discovered Occupational Therapy when I was in college and looking into allied healthcare professions. I fell in love with the holistic aspect of it as well as how creative and fun it seemed. When I found out I could help children grow and reach their fullest potential through play and by celebrating the things that make them unique, I was completely sold. I love working with the kids and working alongside other like-minded people who celebrate neurodiversity too! Who doesn’t want to play while they work and make a profound difference while they do it? OT was and still is a perfect fit for me!

My Blue Bird Day Goals
- My first goal is to always provide the best client-centered care that supports neurodiversity and helps children and their families be happy, healthy, and independent.
- My second goal is to always have a growth mindset. I want to continue to learn from the knowledgeable therapists around me and to seek continuing education opportunities so that I can be the best possible therapist for the children I am working with.
