My Story

The first time that I observed an ABA session, I knew that this was the field that I wanted to go into. As I began working as an RBT, this feeling only intensified, resulting in me pursuing my Master’s in ABA. It’s incredible to see what ABA can do for a child and their families. With ABA, you can see improvements in social interactions, life skills, academic skills, reductions in challenging behaviors, and the list goes on. This field is so diverse and flexible and, because of this, it allows me to help families in so many different ways. There are no words to describe that feeling you get when a parent tells you that their child hugged him for the first time in years. Moments like this are what keeps me going in this field.

My Blue Bird Day

Blue Bird Day is one of the best companies I’ve worked for. At Blue Bird Day, you can feel that the management team cares about you and your well-being. Furthermore, the team aspect of being a clinical therapist is amazing. By working with all different types of disciplines, it allows you to collaborate and problem solve situations from unique perspectives.

My Blue Bird Day Goals

  1. My current professional goal is to graduate with my Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis and pass my board exam to become a board-certified behavior analyst.
