My Story
My passion for working with children began when I was in high school working as a teacher in the attached preschool. The kids’ curiosity, rapid growth, and general love for life drew me to specialize in treatment of children and families. As both a social worker and dance artist, I love finding new ways to intertwine my two passions, which makes my social work practices fun and effective for children and families! I believe in the healing, transformative powers of art and movement, and have a strong desire to advocate for the needs of the children and families with whom I work.

As a new social worker at Blue Bird Day, I appreciate the collaborative nature of the school. With all of the powerful, creative minds housed under one roof, families can receive the best possible care for their children.
