My Story
I discovered my career path of social work during my undergraduate program while working at a summer camp for children with disabilities. After graduating, I continued my education and obtained my Masters of Social Work degree which led to becoming a Licensed Social Worker. I started my career with ABA Therapy and then worked as an Adult Protective Service Case Worker. I missed working with children, so I made a career switch as a social worker in a therapeutic day school. With that being said, I am passionate about working with children to support their social and emotional growth.
My Blue Bird Day Goals
- I would like to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and continue to learn about developmental disabilities.
