My Story
In college, I always knew that I wanted to work with children, thinking that I would be a child life specialist. However, I became interested in developmental therapy when I became a teacher at a daycare. It was a great feeling making a positive impact and helping each child grow, gain skills, and work towards independence, and I thought it would be amazing to assist those children in need of any extra attention and support.
My Blue Bird Day Goals
- I hope to continue expanding my knowledge and experience as a Developmental Therapist to help me decide what Master’s degree to pursue. At the moment, I am thinking of social work or special education.
