My Story

I happened upon Speech Language Pathology by chance while tagging along with a friend to a job fair and just never looked back! I loved the idea of being able to work with people all day while being a part of a growing and innovative field. Over the years, I’ve seen how broad our job is and how many ways you can pursue speech and language in the community. I love that there are so many avenues you can go after all while continuing to help populations in need. I decided to becoming a speech therapist, and continue to love what I do, because our work is impactful, challenging, and rewarding to all involved.

My Blue Bird Day Goals

  1. To gain experience and knowledge in the area of feeding therapy.
  2. To become a mentor for new graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
