Listen to the directions carefully and follow along with the movements.
Your child may benefit from watching you do the dance moves at the same time.

Language Time Activity: Show-And-Tell

The goal of this week is to target receptive-expressive language skills. Focus on asking and answering wh-questions (e.g., who, what, where, when, why, how). Talk about your favorite things. Show your favorite toys, games, and foods in your home. Ask your child questions about their favorite things and encourage them to ask questions about yours.

Have a show-and-tell at home.
Take turns as a family showing your favorite items.
Ask your child wh-questions about their show-and-tell item (e.g., “What is it?”, “What color is it?”, “Where did you get it from?”, “Why do you like it?”).
“My Favorites” craft.
Cut out a paper doll template and paste a picture of your child on the face.
Have your child cut out pictures of their favorite toys, foods, sports, etc. from magazines or newspapers and paste onto the paper doll.
Discuss the items/activities they chose and why they like them.
