Janitor/Custodian Position (West Loop)

Job Description
We are a pediatric therapy clinic in Chicago, seeking a full time Janitor/Custodian! We offer medical, dental, and vision insurance and other great benefits!
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain organization of all rooms based on provided schedule; site location may vary depending on company needs.
- Prepare treatment rooms for therapy to ensure safety of all staff and clients.
- Sanitize highly used areas with provided schedule.
- Clean office work areas, kitchen areas, and high usage areas several time daily.
- Assist management as needed.
- Additional tasks as needed.
- Report directly to your supervisor.
- Attend staff meetings and company events as needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Must pass federal background check
- Proven working experience as a custodian
- Enjoy working in a busy, fast pace environment with children present
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Integrity and ability to work independently
- High school degree
