About the Role

As a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at Blue Bird Day, you will provide physical therapy to children ages 3-6 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs. You'll foster each child's speech, receptive and expressive language, feeding and swallowing needs through:

  • Providing individualized and group therapy
  • Implementing therapeutic approaches such as Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding, Get Permission Approach, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and Intentional Relationship Model (IRM)
  • Collaborating daily with occupational and physical therapists, and social workers
  • Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: $65,000-85,000
