  1. At this stage in my career, I am focused on exploring and gaining a deeper understanding of different professional paths. I am genuinely excited about this opportunity at Blue Bird Day because I believe it can provide me with valuable insights and experiences that will help me clarify my professional goals.
  2. My overarching goal is to find a career path where I can make a meaningful impact and contribute to the well-being of others. I am eager to learn from professionals at Blue Bird Day who have dedicated themselves to providing therapeutic services.

My Story

Throughout my life, I have been deeply passionate about helping others and making a positive impact in their lives. My journey into the field of therapy began during my academic pursuits. At the beginning of college, I had no clear idea of the path that I would endure so initially I took classes that fascinated me and that explored different paths which is where I gained insight on disability studies. Afterward, I explored and sought opportunities to work with the disability community and work alongside organizations. By becoming a therapeutic assistant, I aim to contribute to the well-being of individuals, providing them with the resources and support they need to overcome challenges and lead fulfilling lives. I am dedicated to continuous learning and using my skills to positively impact the lives of those I have the privilege to serve.

My Advocacy

There are a variety of advocacies I value and a few I am committed to is supporting social justice advocacy and the pursuit of a more equitable society. I firmly believe in the principles of fairness and inclusivity. Additionally, I am deeply passionate about and actively support human rights advocacy. I firmly believe in the fundamental principles of equality, justice, and dignity for all individuals, regardless of their race, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexuality, and more. Thus, I support organizations like The Trevor Project, Refugees International, Eden Project, and more.

My Blue Bird Day

I am genuinely excited about the opportunity to contribute to the work of Blue Bird Day and be part of the team.

Blue Bird Day

Blue Bird Day fosters socialization, sensory regulation, and pre-academic learning in children ages 2–7 years in therapeutic rotations that simulate  preschool and kindergarten settings. Our compassionate therapists practice a relationship-based and family-centered approach, provide parent training, and collaborate on goals and individualized intensive treatment plans for your child.

We believe in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team approach to therapy.  A team of occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, developmental therapists, behavioral therapists, physical therapists, and therapeutic assistants are created for each child to ensure child and family are fully supported and the best possible results are achieved.

Options for individualized, group and virtual therapy sessions are available as well.
