Professional Goals

  1. Constantly learn about the latest developments in the field of physical therapy and applying it in an evidence-based manner.
  2. I also wish to grow as both a clinician and an individual; and have a platform to advocate for the pediatric population and physical therapy as a whole.

My Story

As a camp counselor in high school and coaching sports to children and teens in college, working with the pediatric population is something that I have always been passionate about. Coupled with an interest in rehabilitation sciences and going on a journey with a patient to achieve their goals, a passion for the field of Physical Therapy was born. After completing my clinical affiliations in Tennessee and graduating from Physical Therapy school in Virginia, I decided to move back home to Naperville, IL and enact positive change for the pediatric population in the Chicagoland area; ultimately bringing me to Blue Bird Day.

My Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy,
Emory & Henry College

Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology,

My Blue Bird Day

In my time with Blue Bird Day, I have really enjoyed the supportive environment that is fostered here. Everyone has been so welcoming and really want the best for the client, family, and fellow colleagues. Multidisciplinary communication is something that is really emphasized, and I have gained an appreciation for how “teamwork makes the dream work.”

Blue Bird Day

Blue Bird Day fosters socialization, sensory regulation, and pre-academic learning in children ages 2–7 years in therapeutic rotations that simulate  preschool and kindergarten settings. Our compassionate therapists practice a relationship-based and family-centered approach, provide parent training, and collaborate on goals and individualized intensive treatment plans for your child.

We believe in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team approach to therapy.  A team of occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, developmental therapists, behavioral therapists, physical therapists, and therapeutic assistants are created for each child to ensure child and family are fully supported and the best possible results are achieved.

Options for individualized, group and virtual therapy sessions are available as well.
