My Story

Growing up, I knew I always wanted to work with children. Throughout high school and undergrad, I had the opportunity to work with individuals with disabilities and this is where my love of this population stemmed from. While in college, I gained a much better understanding of what occupational therapy was, and I knew it was the job for me. I love being able to play a role in a child’s story and help them live a meaningful and fulfilling life!

My Professional Goals

  1. I want to continue to learn and grow in my practice to best support the clients I will serve and their families!

My Education

Doctor of Occupational Therapy,
Indiana Wesleyan University

Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation,

Blue Bird Day

Blue Bird Day fosters socialization, sensory regulation, and pre-academic learning in children ages 2–7 years in therapeutic rotations that simulate  preschool and kindergarten settings. Our compassionate therapists practice a relationship-based and family-centered approach, provide parent training, and collaborate on goals and individualized intensive treatment plans for your child.

We believe in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team approach to therapy.  A team of occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, developmental therapists, behavioral therapists, physical therapists, and therapeutic assistants are created for each child to ensure child and family are fully supported and the best possible results are achieved.

Options for individualized, group and virtual therapy sessions are available as well.
