Professional Goals

  1. To develop my clinical OT skills to continue to provide the best client-centered, neurodivergent-affirming services I can.
  2. To work towards creating systemic change via policy change or advocacy to address ableist ideals that negatively impact the disabled/ND community.

My Story

I always knew I wanted to work with children in a mental health/healthcare profession, and was introduced to the field of OT by my older sister who is also a pediatric OT. I fell in love with OT and knew that it was what I wanted to do after interning at Eyas Landing Summer Camp. I loved seeing how play-based pediatric OT is and appreciate the holistic/client-centered approaches we use to help individuals do what they find meaningful.

My Education

Doctor of Occupational Therapy,
Boston University

My Blue Bird

I was first connected to Eyas Landing during undergrad when I was a summer intern at Eyas Summer Camp. I loved my experience so much that I came back to the company after graduating as a Therapeutic Assistant at Blue Bird West Loop. After graduating from OT school, I have returned to where it all started for me and am excited to be back at Blue Bird as a therapist this time!

Blue Bird Day

Blue Bird Day fosters socialization, sensory regulation, and pre-academic learning in children ages 2–7 years in therapeutic rotations that simulate  preschool and kindergarten settings. Our compassionate therapists practice a relationship-based and family-centered approach, provide parent training, and collaborate on goals and individualized intensive treatment plans for your child.

We believe in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team approach to therapy.  A team of occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, developmental therapists, behavioral therapists, physical therapists, and therapeutic assistants are created for each child to ensure child and family are fully supported and the best possible results are achieved.

Options for individualized, group and virtual therapy sessions are available as well.
