My Story

I always knew that I wanted to work with children and as I learned more about the field of social work from my grandmother who was a school social worker and others in the field, I knew it was the right fit for me. Having the ability to be in a therapist role, meet the children where they are at and work towards their goals while also being in a field that emphasizes advocacy and social justice is why I pursued this path.

My Education

Masters of Social Work,
Loyola University Chicago

Bachelors of Social Work,
Loyola University Chicago

My Professional Goals

  1. To further my experience in the social work field working with young children with an array of support needs and meet them where they are at.

Blue Bird Day

Blue Bird Day fosters socialization, sensory regulation, and pre-academic learning in children ages 2–7 years in therapeutic rotations that simulate  preschool and kindergarten settings. Our compassionate therapists practice a relationship-based and family-centered approach, provide parent training, and collaborate on goals and individualized intensive treatment plans for your child.

We believe in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team approach to therapy.  A team of occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, developmental therapists, behavioral therapists, physical therapists, and therapeutic assistants are created for each child to ensure child and family are fully supported and the best possible results are achieved.

Options for individualized, group and virtual therapy sessions are available as well.
