Professional Goals

  1. My first goal is to always provide the best client-centered care that supports neurodiversity and helps children and their families be happy, healthy, and independent.
  2. My second goal is to always have a growth mindset. I want to continue to learn from the knowledgeable therapists around me and to seek continuing education opportunities so that I can be the best possible therapist for the children I am working with.

My Story

I always wanted to go into a career where I could help people. I discovered Occupational Therapy when I was in college and looking into allied healthcare professions. I fell in love with the holistic aspect of it as well as how creative and fun it seemed. When I found out I could help children grow and reach their fullest potential through play and by celebrating the things that make them unique, I was completely sold. I love working with the kids and working alongside other like-minded people who celebrate neurodiversity too! Who doesn’t want to play while they work and make a profound difference while they do it? OT was and still is a perfect fit for me!

My Blue Bird Day

I am very excited to learn more, get to know everyone, and grow here!

Blue Bird Day

Blue Bird Day fosters socialization, sensory regulation, and pre-academic learning in children ages 2–7 years in therapeutic rotations that simulate  preschool and kindergarten settings. Our compassionate therapists practice a relationship-based and family-centered approach, provide parent training, and collaborate on goals and individualized intensive treatment plans for your child.

We believe in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team approach to therapy.  A team of occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, developmental therapists, behavioral therapists, physical therapists, and therapeutic assistants are created for each child to ensure child and family are fully supported and the best possible results are achieved.

Options for individualized, group and virtual therapy sessions are available as well.
