Creating a sensory kit? Here’s a list of possible items to include! Create a kit that your child will love and rotate through different items to keep them interested. Trial these toys with your child prior to expecting them to play independently, as many of our kids will need some additional coaching on how to use these toys!

- Use of a calming scent can help a child regulate/ focus on the present moment when overwhelmed in a busy environment

- You can find water anywhere and no mess to worry about! You can also use a small water spray bottle to increase novelty and engagement.
