My Story

From a young age, I knew that I wanted to work with kids, but I did not know in what capacity. From playing house or school to baby sitting and working as a classroom aide, my love for children grew. In high school, my baby brother was diagnosed with Autism and started receiving EI services. I saw firsthand the impact these services, specifically OT, had on his life. Growing up with a brother with ASD has changed my view on life; it has taught me not to take anything for granted, truly treat every individual with kindness, and celebrate small victories. I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to helping those with varying abilities and OT was the place for me to do that.

My Blue Bird Day

Although I am new the Blue Bird Day program, I am thrilled to be apart of such knowledgeable, passionate, and welcome team.

My Blue Bird Day Goals

  1. Continue to gain valuable knowledge and expertise in evidence based pediatric interventions.
  2. Provide best possible client centered care for the child and family.
