I decided to become a classroom aide because I want be a positive impact on younger children. I want to be someone that they trust and feel comfortable with.

1. My professional goal is to gain more knowledge and be the best that I can for children. I want to be able to help them reach their milestones.

• I advocate for families and children who live in neighborhoods that might need a little more resources. I fully support SGA Youth and Family Services which has great programs and a mission to help communities and families.

I love how everyone was very friendly at Blue Bird. Everyone was very welcoming and the bonds the therapist and teachers had with the children was beautiful to see.

Blue Bird Day fosters socialization, sensory regulation, and pre-academic learning in children ages 2–7 years in therapeutic rotations that simulate  preschool and kindergarten settings. Our compassionate therapists practice a relationship-based and family-centered approach, provide parent training, and collaborate on goals and individualized intensive treatment plans for your child.

We believe in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team approach to therapy.  A team of occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, developmental therapists, behavioral therapists, physical therapists, and therapeutic assistants are created for each child to ensure child and family are fully supported and the best possible results are achieved.  

Options for individualized, group and virtual therapy sessions are available as well.
