Professional Goals

  1. I plan to go back for my master’s degree in school psychology. I believe that I can make a positive, lasting difference in children’s lives since school psychologists are a vital part of the effort to unlock each child’s potential for success.

My Story

I have always loved working with children and find that being in their presence is both engaging and therapeutic. I believe that each child is unique and it is crucial to be a part of each child’s development. From a more personal angle, my younger sibling was diagnosed with ADHD and I have always admired the passion and zeal of the therapists to aid in developing the child’s belief in themselves and to help them find their strengths. I hope that one day, I can also help children in that same way that others do.

My Education

Bachelors of Science in Psychology,
North Park University

My Blue Bird Day

While I have no prior experience with Blue Bird Day, I found it fascinating that the facility offers a variety of support in a multi-disciplinary approach to make sure that each child finds their confidence, strives for success, and reaches their goals.

Blue Bird Day

Blue Bird Day fosters socialization, sensory regulation, and pre-academic learning in children ages 2–7 years in therapeutic rotations that simulate  preschool and kindergarten settings. Our compassionate therapists practice a relationship-based and family-centered approach, provide parent training, and collaborate on goals and individualized intensive treatment plans for your child.

We believe in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team approach to therapy.  A team of occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, developmental therapists, behavioral therapists, physical therapists, and therapeutic assistants are created for each child to ensure child and family are fully supported and the best possible results are achieved.

Options for individualized, group and virtual therapy sessions are available as well.
