Professional Goals

  1. One of my professional goals is to continue to grow and learn in my clinical expertise as a pediatric clinician.
  2. One of my long term professional goals is to give back to the occupational therapy community and use my learned clinical knowledge to mentor a fieldwork or capstone student.

My Story

I became an occupational therapist because I loved the healthcare field and pediatrics, therefore I wanted to find a career that I was passionate about and loved. I loved the field of occupational therapy because it is versatile, client centered, and it puts knowledge with a passion for people into a career!

My Advocacy

I support inclusion for children.

My Education

Doctorate in Occupational Therapy,
Midwestern University

My Blue Bird Day

I completed my doctoral capstone project at Eyas Landing and now I am excited for this new experience at Blue Bird Day.

Blue Bird Day

Blue Bird Day fosters socialization, sensory regulation, and pre-academic learning in children ages 2–7 years in therapeutic rotations that simulate  preschool and kindergarten settings. Our compassionate therapists practice a relationship-based and family-centered approach, provide parent training, and collaborate on goals and individualized intensive treatment plans for your child.

We believe in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team approach to therapy.  A team of occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, developmental therapists, behavioral therapists, physical therapists, and therapeutic assistants are created for each child to ensure child and family are fully supported and the best possible results are achieved.

Options for individualized, group and virtual therapy sessions are available as well.
