Professional Goals
- In the future, I would like to research how mobility status (the ability to move around one’s environment) shapes development.
- I am also interested in strategies to increase carryover from clinic to home specifically within the scope of early intervention.

My Story
I have always been curious about how our bodies move and the impact of movement on our lives. I am continually learning from the children with whom I am able to work. They have a sense of determination and resiliency that I admire. As a physical therapist, I have the ability to empower kids to explore the ways they can move and access their environment. Some days this may look like breaking down a task to determine where the challenge is and others it is reinforcing their confidence in their own abilities. While movement looks different for everyone, we all deserve the opportunity to explore and play.

My Blue Bird Day
Having recently relocated to Chicago from Boston, I am delighted to find a pediatric clinic that values collaboration and intersectional advocacy. My hope is to act as a resource and source of encouragement to our kids and families.
Blue Bird Day
Blue Bird Day fosters socialization, sensory regulation, and pre-academic learning in children ages 2–7 years in therapeutic rotations that simulate preschool and kindergarten settings. Our compassionate therapists practice a relationship-based and family-centered approach, provide parent training, and collaborate on goals and individualized intensive treatment plans for your child.
We believe in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team approach to therapy. A team of occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, developmental therapists, behavioral therapists, physical therapists, and therapeutic assistants are created for each child to ensure child and family are fully supported and the best possible results are achieved.
Options for individualized, group and virtual therapy sessions are available as well.
