Advocacy

I had a lot of experience in domestic violence in my career. Believing victims and educating the population on the cycle of abuse is an essential part of decreasing the number of victims. Guardian Angel Community Services provides support for victims of domestic violence, along with other areas of concerns for the community.

Professional Goals

  1. I would like to obtain my clinical license in social work and continue making a change in the lives of my clients.

My Story

I have always found joy and passion in lending a helping hand to others. In my undergraduate degree, I was inspired to pursue a career in social work and found a path that allowed me to be hands on, while providing support that would help a family thrive. During my Masters’ program I had a concentration with children and adolescents, a choice I made because a good foundation can pave the way to success.

Blue Bird Day

Blue Bird Day fosters socialization, sensory regulation, and pre-academic learning in children ages 2–7 years in therapeutic rotations that simulate  preschool and kindergarten settings. Our compassionate therapists practice a relationship-based and family-centered approach, provide parent training, and collaborate on goals and individualized intensive treatment plans for your child.

We believe in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team approach to therapy.  A team of occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, developmental therapists, behavioral therapists, physical therapists, and therapeutic assistants are created for each child to ensure child and family are fully supported and the best possible results are achieved.

Options for individualized, group and virtual therapy sessions are available as well.
