Professional Goals

  1. I am hoping to pursue a Masters of Social Work in the near future.

My Story

Since high school, I have always been interested in pursuing a career that focused on helping others. Through my studies, I realized my love for psychology and the way it can be used to improve people’s lives. My time as a teaching assistant at the campus preschool gave me the chance to gain firsthand experience working with children. During this time, I realized I was passionate about working with kids. It was amazing to see how each child would grow and develop during their time at our school. In the future I hope to become a social worker that specializes in helping disadvantaged populations in accessing care, specifically children that live in communities that may lack adequate resources. Blue Bird Day will give me to chance to help support the growth and development of kids, and I am extremely excited to start my journey here.

My Blue Bird Day

I am excited to work firsthand supporting kids. The wide range of services provided at Blue Bird Day helps to create an environment that ensures the success of children as they grow, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to contribute.

Blue Bird Day

Blue Bird Day fosters socialization, sensory regulation, and pre-academic learning in children ages 2–7 years in therapeutic rotations that simulate  preschool and kindergarten settings. Our compassionate therapists practice a relationship-based and family-centered approach, provide parent training, and collaborate on goals and individualized intensive treatment plans for your child.

We believe in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team approach to therapy.  A team of occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, developmental therapists, behavioral therapists, physical therapists, and therapeutic assistants are created for each child to ensure child and family are fully supported and the best possible results are achieved.

Options for individualized, group and virtual therapy sessions are available as well.
