Professional Goals

  1. My professional aspiration is not only to continually enhance my skills but also to embrace new challenges and emerging trends within the field. I aim to actively seek out opportunities for further education, professional development, and innovative practices, ensuring that I remain at the forefront of delivering exceptional care and support to those in need.

My Story

I’ve always had an interest in working in the health care industry. Initially, I wanted to be a Doctor and work in underserved communities but I quickly realized that I wanted a profession that follows a patient throughout their health journey as well as build rapport and relationships with them. I realized this after I participated in a health volunteer trip to Costa Rica where I was able to shadow doctors, nurses, and other health professionals. With that being said, I came across OT through a friend of mine who was studying physical therapy and recommended I look into OT and quickly fell in love with the profession!

Blue Bird Day

Blue Bird Day fosters socialization, sensory regulation, and pre-academic learning in children ages 2–7 years in therapeutic rotations that simulate  preschool and kindergarten settings. Our compassionate therapists practice a relationship-based and family-centered approach, provide parent training, and collaborate on goals and individualized intensive treatment plans for your child.

We believe in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team approach to therapy.  A team of occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, developmental therapists, behavioral therapists, physical therapists, and therapeutic assistants are created for each child to ensure child and family are fully supported and the best possible results are achieved.

Options for individualized, group and virtual therapy sessions are available as well.
