Professional Goals

  1. My professional goals are to either become a psychiatrist or prescribing Psychologist. I adore the idea of both. I see my future being very bright. When asked, “Who is your targeted population?” I am not sure what to reply as I want many people to have access to mental health services and support through their hardships.

My Story

Growing up I would always tell my mom that I wanted to become a doctor and save lives. As I got older, I continued to be amazed at the fact that I could one day become a doctor and save many more lives. When the pandemic occurred, I chose a path in healing that is often not seen in the BIPOC community. I decided to start therapy and throughout my healing process, I discovered that one can save lives without it being surgical.

My Education

Bachelors of Psychology,
National Louis University

My Blue Bird Day

My experience with Blue Bird Day has been amazing so far. What I like about Blue Bird Day is the support that is given to the clients. Everyone works together to give the best support to the kiddos.

Blue Bird Day

Blue Bird Day fosters socialization, sensory regulation, and pre-academic learning in children ages 2–7 years in therapeutic rotations that simulate  preschool and kindergarten settings. Our compassionate therapists practice a relationship-based and family-centered approach, provide parent training, and collaborate on goals and individualized intensive treatment plans for your child.

We believe in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team approach to therapy.  A team of occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, developmental therapists, behavioral therapists, physical therapists, and therapeutic assistants are created for each child to ensure child and family are fully supported and the best possible results are achieved.

Options for individualized, group and virtual therapy sessions are available as well.
